Between MIT and all the businesses in the area, you will find that Kendall Square is significantly more lively during the day, though at night you will find our favorite stops the Kendall Square Theater with independent cinema and unique local beer at the Cambridge Brewing Company. The large MIT Coop bookstore is also worth a visit. If you feel like venturing out a little, there is the Garment District that sells new and used clothes individually or by the pound.
